When does the EA SPORTS Academy program start?
The EA SPORTS Academy program is set to begin on May 29, 2025, for onsite orientation at our EA Vancouver studio.
Where are the possible locations for this job?
This position is available in either Vancouver, BC, or Orlando, Florida.
What kind of training will I receive during the EA SPORTS Academy program?
You will participate in training activities throughout your first year, including a 2-week immersive onboarding experience and monthly dedicated learning activities.
What programming languages will I be using in this role?
You will be primarily using C++ programming, and experience with other languages such as C# or Java is a major plus.
Is travel support provided for those coming from Orlando?
Yes, EA SPORTS will handle and cover all travel arrangements for participants traveling from Orlando for the program.

The salary range for this position in British Columbia is $79,900 - $111,900 CAD, depending on location and other relevant factors.

You will be working in a collaborative team environment, collaborating with designers, content creators, and other software engineers.
What types of projects will I be working on?
You will develop features for a cross-platform game and implement C/C++ code directly within that game.
How long will the onboarding process last?
The onboarding process will last for 3 weeks, starting with a 2-week immersive experience and followed by a week where participants will work on final practical projects at their local studio.
