Requirements

  • Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
  • Basic Qualifications:
  • Pursuing degree in software engineering, computer science, or related engineering/technical field.
  • Experience with programming languages (C, C++, C#, Java, etc)
  • Experience with software test and debug
  • Experience working with team

  • Desired Skills:
  • Familiar with Agile process
  • A desire to work with embedded systems and hardware\\firmware
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work well in a collaborative and team-based environment
  • A desire to work in a lab setting testing requirements-based software

Responsibilities

  • In this role, you will perform duties as assigned as a part of a team within the Engineering & Technology organization. The individual selected will be responsible for working with internal MSR software teams, other cross-functional LM programs, and External Customers to develop, integrate & test, and interface with simulation platforms and training environments. Additionally, there will be opportunities to brief to customer and program technical leadership.
  • You will be expected to:
  • Apply technical expertise to develop and integrate software solutions that may require investigation and critical problem solving
  • Candidate will be expected to work with all stakeholders to ensure software compliance and coding best practices
  • Ability to shift priorities quickly in alignment with Program and Customer needs
  • Must be self-motivated and self-directed with a strong work ethic and time-management skills
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships, collaborate with others, engage in constructive critique and manage interpersonal dynamics
