Responsibilities

  • The Business Support Systems team is focused on providing APIs and automation for creating and storing customer information, product offerings, fulfillment of orders, and billing.
  • As a member of this team, you will build up a vast knowledge in software development, requirements gathering, testing, automation, and deployment of useful features to internal and external customers across multiple business units, including our government and maritime businesses.
  • This team is currently focused on enabling new business units to take advantage of the automation and processes the BSS team has provided to our Global Fixed Broadband business.
  • In this position you will be an integral part of migrating data from the less automated and more manual data stores used in the past, into the BSS solution.
  • You’ll need to understand the data and how it’s used, and create the scripts, APIs, and/or UI tools for sanitizing and loading data.
  • Your responsibilities will range from working with senior developers and other stakeholders to design and develop automated tooling, to testing the solution and making sure it will work from end to end.
