The Video team owns the video pipeline end to end, evolving live streaming and post-game video capabilities, simplifying developer experiences, and ensuring a scalable and resilient platform.
What qualifications are required for the Software Engineer Intern position?
Candidates should be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or looking to make a career change, with an interest in video streaming, and preferably some experience with iOS, Android, or backend development.
Will interns receive mentorship during the internship?
Yes, interns will gain experience and mentorship from GameChanger engineers throughout the internship.
Is there an orientation for new interns?
Yes, there is a trip to NYC for orientation week at GameChanger HQ.
Where can interns work during the program?
Interns can work remotely throughout the US, allowing them to enjoy their summer from wherever they choose.
What types of projects will interns work on?
Interns will collaborate with a team to build new features and fix existing ones in the GameChanger app, while learning about video streaming.
What equipment will be provided for the internship?
GameChanger will provide MacBooks for the duration of the internship.
Are there any states where you cannot hire interns?
Yes, GameChanger is unable to hire in AK, DE, HI, IA, LA, MS, MT, OK, and SC due to company-wide practices regarding employer state tax liabilities.
