Requirements

  • Class of 2026 pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Proven hands-on experience in financial institutions or technology companies. Understanding of trading technology is a plus
  • Experience or exposure to cloud platforms such as GCP or AWS
  • Strong command of programming languages. You thrive during the full-code life-cycle. You enjoy creating solutions to problems and coding projects outside of school/work
  • Strong verbal and written communication. You can break down big ideas to their smallest parts, and take small parts to create big ideas. High level and detailed communication comes easily
  • An energetic, creative, and autonomous self-starter. You take a challenge straight on and consider yourself a doer
  • Interest in digital assets markets/trading is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Responsibilities and duties will vary depending on what function you join. Some examples of what you might work on:
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of user-facing features for our web applications.
  • Collaborate with designers to translate UI/UX wireframes into high-quality code.
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Learn and apply best practices in front-end development.
  • Contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of server-side logic.
  • Work on database schemas, data storage solutions, and application APIs.
  • Ensure the performance, reliability, and scalability of backend systems.
  • Assist in the integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end engineers.
  • Contribute to the design and construction of platform infrastructure for processing and analyzing large volumes of market data and client transactions.
  • Design, implement, and maintain robust data pipelines using information from the Talos platform and external market data sources.
  • Utilize database systems, gain an understanding of analytics and application databases.
  • Explore cutting-edge technology developments for handling and processing big data.
  • Assist in automation to help the team deal with client issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to identify and address client needs.
  • Learn and apply best practices in client support and relationship management.
  • Ensure the stability of the existing infrastructure while working on the next generation of infrastructure as a service.
  • Collaborate with expert engineers to learn and implement standard processes, automation, and continuous improvement.
  • Design automation solutions for ticketing systems to streamline incident response.
  • Develop reporting mechanisms to provide insights into system health and incident trends.
