Requirements

  • Advanced degree in Software Engineering/Wireless Communications or another STEM field such as Computer, or Electrical Engineering with a wireless focus.
  • Demonstrated experience working with Bluetooth radios with Arduino or other embedded wireless applications.
  • Ability to conceptualize, design, research, and test Bluetooth solutions and communicate results.
  • Proven experience working independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with critical analysis skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Interpersonal, organizational and relationship-building skills

Responsibilities

  • Develop an Android Bluetooth Application to communicate with Impinj RFID Readers.
  • Develop RFID Firmware to communicate with Android Application via Bluetooth
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand system level requirements and derive product requirements related to Bluetooth use-cases.
  • Test Bluetooth use-cases with real hardware using different topologies.
  • Develop presentations to communicate the efficiency of each of the Bluetooth modes of operation.
  • Experience writing software using C, C++, Java, or Kotlin
