The ideal candidate for the Software Engineering Intern Robotics position in Austin should be a PhD or Masters candidate in Software Engineering, have a minimum 2.5 GPA, experience with Microsoft Office, C++, vehicle control systems, image processing techniques, and robotics algorithms such as 3D path planning, SLAM, and kinematics. They must also be legally authorized to work in the US and have the ability to work in a high-performance team on projects with shifting schedules.

The candidate will contribute to software development, algorithm development, and simulation tasks, while assisting in preparing presentations and technical papers and collaborating with project team members and clients. They will also be responsible for testing software remotely, in simulation, and on the designated vehicle.

Additional responsibilities&nbsp;may&nbsp;include user documentation, testing and requirements gathering.</li><li>Your job responsibilities and projects will be based upon your experience and educational background to provide real life application of your classroom knowledge. You’ll work closely with a mentor to ensure your developmental goals are met and that you meet your performance expectations.</li><li>There is an opportunity for team building, meet and greet lunches with our executive team, facility tours, and off-site ventures.
