Requirements

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field
  • Must have a 3.2 or higher GPA
  • Part-Time Intern– Must be registered for 6+ credit hours
  • Commit to 15-20 hours of work per week in the Orlando Field Office
  • Experience in 1 or more programming languages
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, and Visio
  • Clear communicator, written and oral
  • Strong math skills and ability to learn complex engineering concepts
  • Ability to clearly communicate technical ideas
  • Experience in hardware, software, and firmware development methodologies and structured approaches to system development
  • Strong coordination, organization, teaming, and communication abilities
  • Works well individually or in a group setting
  • Due to our research contracts with the US federal government, candidates for this position are required to be US Citizens
  • Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain an active security clearance
