Requirements

Strong programming (Java, Perl, XML, JS) and problem-solving skills.
Ability to learn quickly and to work in a fast-paced, innovative environment
Knowledge of software and/or testing methodologies
It would be nice if you also had:
Networking and telecommunications knowledge
Linux operating environment, Windows, Virtual Machines
Knowledge of Routing Protocols (ie. OSPF, IS-IS, BGP, RIP), and MPLS
Education Recommendations:
Currently a candidate for a Master's, bachelor's degree, or Diploma in Computer Science, Computer Systems Engineering, or a related field with an accredited school in Canada.

Responsibilities

Development of scripts or applications (XML, REST, JavaScript, Perl) to simulate various management activities and network scenarios.
Development and execution of test plans to validate functional aspects of the product.
Investigation of product defects encountered during test scenarios.
Execution of tests and maintenance of regression and performance test beds, including publishing results and developing additional functionality.
