Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing and updating content on Bookends (company intranet site)
  • Support Communications Assistant with incoming requests for book donations to non-profit organizations and educational programs
  • Prepare content to HBG’s consumer website (press releases, news archives, etc.)
  • Work with Chief Communications Officer, Senior Director of Communications and Communications Associate to collect and catalog relevant news about HBG for sharing internally
  • Help develop publicity initiatives, including researching and building contact databases, and email outreach to event sponsors
  • Design graphics in Canva for website, social media, and marketing purposes
  • Draft content for weekly internal newsletters, quarterly reports, and other internal communications projects
