Requirements

  • This position is key to assisting Publishers with Journal management and development. We provide leadership to advance scientific communication and build strong relationships within journal communities. You will support the creation of customized reporting and data for journal performance and provide administrative support to update systems.
  • About you:
  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program, or be a recent graduate
  • Available to start in June 2024 for an internship of up to six months
  • Strong interest in research publishing, and ideally, sustainable development
  • Applications should have an interest in the role of academic research in addressing global societal challenges.
  • Able to work to tight deadlines but will also ensure that tasks are performed with speed and accuracy
  • Excellent communication skills are key to this role – both written and verbal
  • Able to gather data, information, and facts from several sources and systems

Responsibilities

  • The successful applicant will learn within the Journals team covering Medicine and Life Sciences, part of the Research Publishing division of Springer Nature.
