Founded in 1992 in the UK, we’ve grown into the world’s number one live-theatre company today. We cover every discipline in the theatre industry, from operating venues to ticketing platforms and producing shows.  We are passionate about great shows and our ambition is to help them find the largest possible audiences. 

We operate close to 50 venues across Britain, the US and Germany.  Our portfolio includes historic West End theatres and venues across the UK in major cities such as Birmingham, Bristol, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Liverpool, Manchester and many more.  In the US, we operate venues on Broadway, in Brooklyn, New Orleans, San Antonio, and Boston.  In Europe, we operate theatres in Berlin, Cologne, Düsseldorf, Hamburg and Bochum.

ATG Tickets operates in the UK, US and Germany across three brands atgtickets.com, LOVEtheatre.com and Group Line.  We run Britain’s most visited theatre ticketing sites, selling over 11 million tickets a year for hit musicals, acclaimed plays, concerts, comedy shows, attractions and exhibitions. Group Line is consistently voted “Best Ticketing Agency” by industry peers.

We produce shows across the entertainment spectrum and are proud to have won many Olivier and Tony awards. Recent ATG productions in the UK include both West End productions and UK tours. On Broadway, we recently presented Sunday in the Park with George starring Jake Gyllenhaal as the inaugural show for the re-opening of the Hudson theatre. Our European production arm, BB Promotions, recently won the “Promoter of the Year” award in recognition of recent accomplishments.

We work in close partnership with some of the world’s most revered producers, directors and performers.  We frequently co-produce shows alongside the Lincoln Centre Theater in New York, the Chichester Festival Theatre, the Almeida, the National Theatre and of course, Sonia Friedman Productions, the acclaimed international producer of dozens of hit shows.

 <p><b>Stage Management Trainee - STRANGER THINGS: THE FIRST SHADOW</b></p>
 <p> Sonia Friedman Productions is seeking applications for a Stage Management Internship on the London production of STRANGER THINGS: THE FIRST SHADOW.</p>
 <p> Written by Kate Trefry, an original story by the Duffer Brothers, Jack Thorne and Kate Trefry, directed by Stephen Daldry, co-directed by Justin Martin for the Phoenix Theatre and produced by Netflix and Sonia Friedman Productions – this new play has taken the West End by storm, garnering 5 star reviews across the board and winning the Olivier for Best Entertainment.</p>
 <p> The internship will run from September to October 2024 across the Production’s recast rehearsals. The Intern will work across Monday to Saturday each week. Standard working hours will be between 9.30am – 7.30pm, although some evenings may be required.</p>
 <p> The Intern will be trained and supported by the show’s Stage Management department. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to: supporting technical elements of the rehearsals, maintaining props, and shadowing show plots.</p>
 <p> We ask that candidates should:</p>
 <ul>
  <li> Be able to demonstrate interest and experience in theatre stage management.</li>
  <li> Have some practical experience of supporting live events or productions on a voluntary or amateur basis.</li>
  <li> Be eager to learn.</li>
  <li> Work well under pressure and within a team.</li>
  <li> Have the right to work in the UK</li>
 </ul>
 <p> Professional experience is not required</p>
 <p> This internship is best suited for those in the final year of a university course. Note that this internship is for over 18s only.</p>
