What is the duration of the internship?
The internship lasts for 8 months.
Where is the internship located?
The internship is based at the Administrative Centre (CA).
What kind of projects will I be involved in during the internship?
You will help prepare month-end reports, perform account reconciliations, support analysts during audits, update databases or Excel files, and assist with special projects such as the implementation of PowerBI.
What qualifications do I need to apply for this internship?
You should currently be completing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting (or equivalent) or a DESS CPA, and if you are in the Bachelor’s program, you must have completed a minimum of 2 study sessions.
Are there opportunities for networking during the internship?
Yes, there are numerous networking opportunities, including volunteer work, social exchanges, and events like 5 à 7 and meals with other interns.
What language skills are required for this position?
Good communication skills in both French and English, spoken and written, are required.
Will I receive training or mentorship during my internship?
Yes, interns will have the opportunity to attend conferences, including executive meetings and learning sessions about Bombardier's products and services.
Are there opportunities for travel during the internship?
Yes, interns may occasionally be required to travel outside Canada for training or work.
Is there a possibility of employment after the internship?
The internship is primarily for students, and while it may lead to future opportunities, it does not guarantee employment after the internship.
Are there any specific software skills required?
Strong computer skills are required, particularly in the Windows operating system and the Microsoft Office Suite, with a focus on Excel, Access, and PowerPoint. Familiarity with PowerBI is considered an asset.
