Requirements

Linux/Unix skills are a must
Working knowledge of ASIC Design Flow
Working knowledge of Verilog RTL or VHDL RTL
Tcl/Perl/Python is a plus
Knowledge of Static Verification Tools is preferred
Knowledge of Simulation Tools is a plus
Knowledge of Implementation Tools is a plus
BSEE, BSCS, BSCE are required, MSEE, MSCS, MSCE is preferred (graduating to complete degree is okay

Responsibilities

As an intern, you will work alongside the Static Applications Engineering (AE) team to support customers and collaborate with R/D. You will be integrated into the team and invited to attend all team functions, meetings, etc. The goal is for the intern to experience the AE role in all aspects.
Learn all aspects of the Applications Engineering Role and Responsibilities
Review technical aspects of Static Verification Technology
Receive Training on fundamentals (RTL Coding, Scripting, Tools and Methodologies, etc.)
Complete detailed training on “choice of focus” Tool/Technology
Participate in customer relations, communications, interactions, and meetings
R/D, PV, and Product Team relations, communications, interactions, meetings
Scope and Delivery of “Summer Project” (RapidAdoptionKit/GetUpToSpeed type training for “choice of focus”)
