  • We are excited to announce the J.Jill Corporate focused Internship Program, our summer 2024 internship which is a 10 week paid internship program running from June through August. This program is a full-time summer commitment. We are currently on a hybrid schedule, so students will be expected to work partially on-site and partially at home.
  • This program is designed to give rising juniors and seniors an opportunity to gain hands on insight and knowledge within a specialty Retail Company. Interns will participate in daily business activities in their assigned department while having the opportunity to learn about the company overall. Interns will also be able to learn from J. Jill’s senior leaders.
  • We are looking to bring on an enthusiastic and driven Store Operations Intern to support our department with store communications and operations by maintaining data within the store portal. As an Store Operations intern with J.Jill you will have the opportunity to make an impact on our internship program bysupporting training, communication, and adoption of new initiatives for retail stores and field leadership. 


  • Organized, detail oriented, with strong ability to validate own data

  • Ability to develop engaging and motivating training content
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications - Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

  • Education and Experience:
  • Working toward a Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • 1+ year experience in a specialty retail setting.

  • Creates training tools, in document and virtual forms, to support communication and operational training (job aids) tailored to retail team audience
  • Observes current in-store processes, and creates updated more efficient versions of the processes
  • Ensures all training content is engaging, relevant, and highly adoptable
  • Ensures training effectiveness by developing new approaches and techniques
  • Collects feedback and evaluates KPIs to continuously improve training experience and outcomes
  • Assists with input of forms and documents into store portal
  • Supports ongoing communication to stores by proposing and implementing most effective technical delivery solutions
  • Assists in following up and responding to store issues in a timely manner
  • Creates surveys and collects data and feedback
  • Monitors, tracks, and reports on training completion
  • Provides planning and execution support for all field meetings
  • Assists with key projects and initiatives as assigned
