Responsibilities

  • Exposure to investing across different markets and selecting best in class portfolio managers and strategies across Fixed Income, US Equity, International Equity, and Alternative Investments
  • Interns will be asked to creatively evaluate portfolio managers, through analysis of a fund’s team, track record, quantitative risk factors, portfolio characteristics, and underlying holdings.
  • Opportunity to present analysis and recommendations to senior members of SAI’s investment team
  • Frequent opportunities to participate in meetings with Fidelity and external portfolio managers
  • Mentorship and networking opportunities with SAI PMs, Research Analysts, and senior leaders
  • Emphasis on hands-on training from Research Analysts directly related to intern projects
  • Opportunity for training in conjunction with investment interns in Equity, High Income, Fixed Income, and Strategic Advisers investment divisions at Fidelity
  • Mentorship from senior research analysts and associates
  • Exposure to Portfolio Managers and investment thought leaders
  • Successful interns may receive an offer at the end of the summer internship to return as a full-time Research Associate post-graduation.
