Responsibilities

  • Solving structural analysis problems within Static Stress, F&DT and FEM, through the use of appropriate AIRBUS methods, processes and tools this will include extracting information from previous analysis and/or carrying out FEM analysis and performing calculations to justify structural performance
  • Creating appropriate documentation
  • Communicating your analysis to mentors and/or more senior engineers
  • You will be involved in the dynamic process of aircraft wing modifications, which will require alignment and integration between different teams
  • You will participate in investigations into manufacturing optimisation challenges, proposing and implementing enhancements to meet future build rates
  • Next to your everyday work, you will also be asked to outline a set of personal development goals, which can include anything from learning Java or Python to networking and discovering how the business works
