What locations are available for the Structural Engineer Intern position?
The Structural Engineer Intern position is available in our Louisville, Kentucky and Ann Arbor, Michigan locations.
What qualifications are required for this internship?
Candidates must be currently enrolled in a Civil Engineering degree program with a structural focus, or be a recent graduate from an ABET Accredited program. A Certificate for Engineer-in-Training (NCEES FE Exam) is preferred.
Is prior experience required for this internship?
0-2 years of relevant experience is preferred, but the position is open to interns who are eager to learn.
What tasks will the intern be responsible for?
Interns will assist structural engineers with various projects, prepare design calculations, collaborate on forensic reports, model in Revit and Risa 3D, and produce structural plans and details.
What software skills are necessary for this position?
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required, along with familiarity with AutoCAD and/or Revit Structure. Understanding Mathcad and other structural engineering software is also important.
