Requirements

  • Currently enrolled and in good academic standing, pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering at an ABET accredited University or College; minimum of 3 years of coursework completed.
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA.
  • College level engineering courses in Civil/Structural Engineering with a focus in Structures.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and MS Office Suite, Bluebeam and Adobe Acrobat. Revit experience is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with different structural design software such as Enercalc, Risa 3d, Ram Structural System, Tekla Structural Designer, Excel Spreadsheets, or the fast ability to learn.
  • Familiarity with different structural codes such as the IBC, ASCE, AISC, ACI, TMS, etc.
  • Possess strong organizational and collaborative skills.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare engineering related calculations and develop structural details.
  • Assist Managers, Design Leads and Engineers with various tasks.
  • Work under supervision of a senior level team member.
  • Perform shop drawing reviews under the supervision of the design lead.
  • Hybrid position – at least 3 days a week – Phoenix, AZ / Midvale, UT locations.
  • In-office position preferred and encouraged – Phoenix, AZ location.
