Requirements

Currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
Overall GPA of 3.25 or higher.
Strong technical communication skills (written and verbal);
Proficient knowledge and experience using SAP2000, ETABS or similar analysis software;
Proficient using AutoCAD drafting software;
Proficient using MS Office suite;
Ability to work in the office and in the field. This role may require occasional travel locally and outside the local area.

Responsibilities

Perform condition assessments, investigations, field testing, and construction observations to gather field data, document existing conditions, and prepare field reports. You will have the opportunity to work on different types of structural systems such as: prestressed concrete, post-tensioned concrete, steel, masonry, or timber;
Analyze field data and perform structural analysis via hand calculations or computer modeling to check as-built conditions or to perform strengthening design;
Prepare technical reports for clients that summarize your field investigation, analysis, and recommendations;
Work with a project team to prepare design documents including project drawings and specifications;
Assist in project coordination and meetings with internal team members;
Review project submittals and shop drawings as part of construction administration services;
