The primary responsibilities include supporting educational programming and community engagement, coordinating activities for other student employees, assisting with educational materials, conducting community-based programs, and participating in professional and public meetings.
How many hours can I work if I am taking classes?
If you are taking classes, you can work up to 28 hours per week.
Can I work more hours during the summer?
Yes, during the summer and/or academic breaks, you can work up to 38 hours per week.
Are there any background checks required for this position?
Yes, this position will require both First Advantage and BCI/FBI background checks.
What skills are required for this position?
Required skills include excellent customer service, strong organizational skills, responsibility, good judgment, and knowledge or experience in a student assistant role.
What programs will I be supporting in this role?
You will be supporting 4-H Youth Development, Agriculture & Natural Resources, and Community Development programs designed for both youth and adult audiences.
