Requirements

  • Working towards a university degree ideally in a Statistics or Economics focus with heavy concentration on applied Econometrics
  • Intermediate MS Excel and Access skills
  • Strong statistical modelling/analytical skills
  • Knowledge of SAS Base and SAS Enterprise Guide skills is an asset
  • Advanced knowledge of linear/logistic regression techniques and time series forecasting
  • Some knowledge of decision trees, clustering, and factor analysis is an asset
  • You must be currently enrolled in a registered co-op program to be considered for this position
  • You must also be available on a full-time basis for the duration of the co-op term

Responsibilities

  • Assisting the Sr. Analyst, Advanced Analytics with the day-to-day maintenance and improvement of key analytical data sets
  • Researching and implement new and improved techniques that measure the impact of the firm's day-to-day activities and decisions on sales results
  • Provide support in measuring and reporting on the strategic goals of the firm
