Requirements

  • You are working towards a university degree in Computer Science or Computer/Software Engineering, ideally in your 3rd or 4th year of study.
  • You have a strong understanding of programming languages like Java and Javascript. Apex knowledge is an asset.
  • Strong experience with the full life cycle of software development.
  • You have working knowledge of databases and data models.
  • Current work authorization for Canada is required for all openings.
  • You understand and are experienced in the evolving digital technology landscape.
  • You are skilled at using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain an understanding of financial services markets and customer and user requirements, particularly relating to asset management.
  • Work with cross-functional solutions teams to deliver integrated solutions across the various financial platforms.
  • Have a bias toward action and can break down complex problems into steps that drive fast-paced product development.
  • Collect and analyze data on customer preferences and needs to identify potential markets and factors affecting product demand. Conduct market research that will assist in driving feature prioritization.
  • Create new Salesforce objects, fields and validation rules.
  • Perform unit testing of the new developed functionalities.
  • Help our Salesforce administrators with database maintenance.
  • Help with the daily support of our Salesforce applications.
