What are the main responsibilities of the Radiology Student Intern?
The main responsibilities include greeting patients, maintaining cleanliness of examination rooms, assisting with patient transport, supporting patient care activities under supervision, assisting with patient history and consent forms, contacting patients for preparation instructions, performing clerical functions, and maintaining inventory of supplies.
What qualifications are required for this position?
The minimum required qualification is current enrollment as a student in a healthcare field.
Will the intern need to travel for this position?
Yes, this position will not be located on the main medical campus and will require the ability to travel routinely to ambulatory sites.

This is a temporary (fixed term) position with varying shifts, and year-round employment is required.

Are interns allowed to perform procedures independently?
No, interns will support patient care activities only under the direct supervision of the Imaging Technologist.

Interns must follow all applicable infection control standards, OSHA guidelines, and federal, state, and organizational policies and procedures.
