Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in an Architecture, Interior Design, Graphic Design, Business, Real Estate, Information Design or Transdisciplinary Design Program
  • You have completed your third year of an undergraduate program or first year of a graduate program and are returning to your program post-internship. This internship is not for recent graduates
  • Possess outstanding strategic, analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Comfort in a fast-paced, dynamic, open, collaborative environment and the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong InDesign, Illustrator, and Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) skills
  • Revit experience is a plus
  • Interest in business strategy, business innovation and transformation, and/or workplace planning and design.

Responsibilities

  • Working across a range of client industries and services, primary responsibilities will include end-user research, secondary research, production of client deliverables, programming, design standards development, and change management communications. Our Strategy Studio has expertise spanning workplace strategy, experience strategy, change management, programming, real estate positioning, portfolio analysis, master planning, innovation consulting, design guidelines, and web tool development.
  • Assist in planning and performing user research and data collection activities
  • Workshop and presentation preparation and facilitation support
  • Information synthesis to translate findings into implications and direction for design, occupancy, workplace performance, and/or workplace experience.
  • Diagramming, data analysis, and visualization, including experience journey mapping and development of work style or other end-user behavior profiles
  • Space programming
  • Storyboarding, cartooning presentations, and development of communications
  • Developing design concept diagrams
