Can the student intern care for a family member who is a patient at the facility?
No, the intern cannot provide care for a family member. If a family member is a patient at the facility, the intern will be scheduled to work on days when the patient is not present or assigned to another patient.
What training opportunities does the internship provide?
The internship provides training related to psychosocial topics, including the development and provision of training for staff on Ultra Care Programs as needed.
