The candidate must have experience with open-source compiler software, preferably LLVM, understanding of GPU architecture, effective communication and problem-solving skills, exposure to machine learning algorithms for compiler optimization, and be a master student in CS, CE, or EE.

The candidate will work on optimizing the open-source LLVM compiler for AMD GPUs, collaborating with Machine Learning and HPC applications to improve performance. They will gain experience in the compiler back-end and enable machine learning guided algorithms, identifying transformations that benefit from machine learning and developing training infrastructure.
