The candidate must be actively pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Business Administration, Emergency Management, or Communications, with a cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher. Preferred qualifications include relevant work experience, Microsoft Office proficiency, pursuing a graduate degree, and willingness to travel as needed.

The candidate will be responsible for supporting project teams in creating and implementing disaster protocol, maintaining documentation, assisting in policy development, and coordinating project logistics for Amtrak's Emergency Management Intern role in Chicago.
