Requirements

  • A passion for our mission!
  • Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program.
  • Must be comfortable with Zoom and Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, and Power Point.
  • Actively participate in the Summer Intern Innovation Project through cross-functional collaboration with internal stakeholders and your assigned project.
  • Ability to work in a team environment but also work strong independently.
  • Ability to be organized and detailed to balance several projects simultaneously.
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Experience working with Graphic Design, Adobe Creative Suites, Excel, Word, Zoom, Teams (Bonus, but not mandatory: Jira, Confluence, Ziflow). Must have excellent writing and communication skills.
  • Majors preferred: Graphic Design, Marketing

Responsibilities

  • This individual will be a part of ALSAC’s Content Studio (in Marketing's Creative and Content team) and is responsible for helping develop design and marketing collateral that helps audiences understand and engage with St. Jude.
  • The candidate will help assist in creating design that aligns with key strategic areas of focus that helps shape how we tell our story in a compelling and differentiated way. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of all types of design work, and the ability to conceptualize and produce engaging design in a myriad of formats (brochure, campaign collateral, apparel, etc).
  • Develop creative for Marketing pieces
  • Participate in brainstorming ideas to meet campaign needs
  • Shadow designers within Creative & Content Studio and help with their projects
  • Learn about marketing strategy and how to interpret creative briefs
  • Potential Projects could include (Campaigns focused on our younger audiences—Trikeathon, St. Jude You, PlayLive; Core Campaign work—Walk/Run, Marathon; Strategic Partnership campaigns—Thanks and Giving)
