Requirements

  • This position is available to any college student enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program, with preference given to those majoring in Emergency Management, Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery and Risk Management. If not enrolled in secondary education, equivalent experience from a related industry and discipline is required.
  • Must have experience with Microsoft Office software.
  • Must be comfortable interviewing subject matter experts on specific subjects.
  • Ability to research and gather detailed data and document findings.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks & requirements to meet project goals.
  • Strong Interpersonal Skills.
  • GPA of 3.5 or higher preferred.

Responsibilities

  • The Resiliency Intern will assist with administrative tasks, plans, tests, exercises, meetings, equipment and special projects. The effort will include engagement with various levels of leadership across the organization through interpersonal and virtual collaboration. In addition, the intern will be afforded the creative opportunity to design and present their work to multiple audiences, collect feedback and integrate ideas to support their assignments and projects.
