  • Currently enrolled in a 4-year undergraduate or graduate program (expected graduation between December 2024 - July 2025).

Responsibilities

  • As a Cyber Security Rookie, you will perform security data analysis and/or feature improvement in a one-of-a-kind, leading edge, custom-built, internal security application. The application provides security visibility on our AWS Cloud infrastructure and also performs external Attack Surface Management functions. There is a variety of areas a rookie can explore based on their interests and experience. Some options include:
  • Analyze the output of the automated security data to find security issues or vulnerabilities
  • Build or improve features of the custom security automation framework
  • Help secure the platform by adding user authentication to the web-based user interface
  • Build tagging reports for cloud resources
  • Enhance attack surface management features by integrating OWASP AMASS into the platform
  • Leverage APIs to integrate our Application Security data into the platform
  • Create a dashboard of key metrics based on the data set
