Requirements

This internship is primarily geared for new designers, current students, and folks transitioning into design from an adjacent discipline. Interns should possess the following:
Ability to create low and high-fidelity designs and user flows in Figma
Excellent collaboration and presentation skills
Familiarity with designing user-centered experiences for the web
Fluency with Figma, Sketch, or other design tools
Familiarity with brand guidelines / design systems

Responsibilities

Research and synthesis of feedback from our constituents and stakeholders to make minor and major improvements on our products
Wireframes, mid to high fidelity visual and interaction designs, and prototypes for web and mobile aclu.org experiences
Creating and sharing presentations highlighting the on-going work to our product and technology team and stakeholders across the organization
Engage in special projects and other duties as assigned
Center principles of equity, inclusion, and belonging in all work, embedding the values in program development, policy application, and organizational practices and processes
Demonstrate a commitment to work collaboratively and respectfully toward resolving obstacles and/or conflicts
