Requirements

  • Basic Qualifications:
  • Must be actively enrolled in a degree-granting program at an accredited institution during the length of the program and be able to provide documentation to confirm your degree progress
  • Current class standing of sophomore or above (30 credits)
  • Must have a good knowledge of and passion for sports and be familiar with the Chicago sports teams
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship by NBCUniversal
  • IN-PERSON/HYBRID Must be willing to work in Chicago, IL.
  • Desired Characteristics:
  • Must have strong news judgment, be creative, and be willing & able to work in the fast-paced environment of live television
  • Students with class standing of junior or above preferred
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above

Responsibilities

  • Draft legal correspondence and other legal documents under the supervision of an attorney or paralegal.
  • Communicate with internal and external clients, as well as other studio departments regarding contracts.
  • Work with the Contract Operations team on deal entries, weekly contract status reports, final contract reconciliation and Product Development tracking and approvals.
  • Assist the Global Asset Management team with projects using their creative asset management system.
  • Assist in other legal projects as assigned.
