Requirements

  • Qualifications:
  • Currently enrolled in a relevant undergraduate or graduate program, pursuing a degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and draw actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to distill complex information into clear and concise materials.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of retail marketing, consumer behavior, and market trends.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint as well as Keynote.
  • Creative thinking: Ability to think outside the box and come up with innovative ideas for brand execution at retail.
  • Strong problem-solving skills: Capable of identifying challenges and finding effective solutions to overcome them.
  • Adaptability: Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborative mindset: Able to work effectively with cross-functional teams and build strong relationships.
  • Passion for retail and consumer trends: Demonstrated interest and enthusiasm for the retail industry and staying updated on consumer trends.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze market trends, consumer data for each franchise by retailer, and internal positioning of franchises/properties to identify risks/opportunities.
  • Make strategic recommendations for brand execution at retail to maximize profitability and build brand equity.
  • Maintains a thorough understanding of the retail marketplace, consumer, and regional differences to identify market trends and competitive opportunities.
  • Develop materials distilling the above information into pitch materials for the retail team to present to buyers.
  • Partner with category team to identify and maximize opportunities at retail for NBCUniversal franchise and property merchandise aligning to retail channel strategy.
  • Support communication of retail brand plan and strategic direction for execution at retail to the sales team.
