Requirements

  • Eligibility:
  • To qualify for this internship, candidates must meet the following criteria:
  • Currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate program (Business, Marketing or a related field).
  • Rising Sophomore and above required (30 Credits or more).
  • Available to work onsite a minimum of 3 days a week.
  • Qualifications
  • Interest in all major areas of marketing.
  • Solid project management skills to coordinate across internal functional groups and external partners/licensees.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Fluent in Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Office as well as Keynote.
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task over multiple projects.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, flexible environment.

Responsibilities

  • Support retail marketing and sales efforts across Universal Products & Experiences - all with the goal of building brand equity, driving consumer engagement and product revenue.
  • Produce recaps and maintain records of promotional events and cross-company campaigns for NBCUniversal, Universal Pictures and Universal Parks.
  • Prepare weekly competitive analysis on social media, 3rd Party Retail Media, and any ad-hoc reports as needed.
  • Responsible for pulling Franchise & Marketing materials from PUMA to consolidate into master Universal Products & Experiences Sales Presentation.
  • Prepare major summer theatrical recap presentations for all retailers (i.e. Walmart, Target, Amazon, Hot Topic, Kohl’s etc.)
  • Support and help coordinate NA Retail Summit and any other major retail meetings.
  • Maintain project tracking for multiple workstreams and deliverables to meet deadlines.
  • Gather status updates, maintain reports (MAT & Exclusives tracker) and manage licensee share outs.
  • Responsible for maintaining and distributing Retail Buyer Lists/Org Charts and Retail Meetings Calendar.
  • Support team on marketing approvals for Retail and Licensees.
  • Perform other marketing duties and/or projects as needed.
