What are the program dates for the Summer 2025 Communications Intern position?
The program dates are from June 2nd, 2025, to August 7th, 2025.
Where is the internship located?
The internship is located on-site in our midtown NYC office, three days per week (Monday to Thursday).
What is the weekly schedule for the internship?
The weekly schedule is 28 hours per week, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, with a one-hour lunch break.
What is the pay rate for the internship?
The pay rate for the internship is $16.50 per hour.

What skills are required for this internship?
Candidates should possess strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, excellent organizational skills, proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Canva, and social media, as well as the ability to balance multiple responsibilities and work independently.
What kind of projects will I be involved in as an intern?
Interns will assist in managing content for the company intranet, support book donation requests, prepare content for the consumer website, collect news about Hachette Book Group, develop publicity initiatives, design graphics, and draft content for internal communication projects.
