Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with and assist the Basic Books Group’s marketing & publicity teams on promotion
  • Design social media banners, Amazon A+ content, postcards, bookmarks, and flyers
  • Use a graphics tracking sheet to stay on top of design tasks and meet deadlines
  • Attend 1-on-1, team, and departmental meetings
  • Media monitoring
  • Writing and compiling press materials, including press release and praise sheets
  • Researching new media contacts and outlets that would be interested in covering our books
  • Assisting with administrative tasks, including organizing mailings, managing spreadsheets, saving press clips, etc.
  • Attending department meetings and actively contributing ideas
