Responsibilities

  • Quality and Reliability Engineering (Q&R) is responsible for customer quality improvement interfacing on post-design planning and new product qualification. Our team drives customer DPPM (defective parts per million) that can be at ODM (original device manufacturer) or OEM (original equipment manufacturer) and data center. Typical areas of activity are in system level testing, overall quality, reliability, and customer fail log analysis. Q&R engineer works horizontally across several functional organizations (Business unit, engineering leadership, Global Operations organization, business operations, sales and end customers). Q&R is a fast-paced multi-tasking environment. Specialized disciplines within our team include Data Analysis, System Level Test (SLT), NPI (new product introduction) flow. The purpose of this position is to contribute significantly to Quality & Reliability teams’ deliverables as part of the overall NPI and quality flow. Contributions may span several areas, with specific emphasis on statistical analysis, semiconductor performance analysis, quality assurance, and data interpretation. As a member of the team, you will have deliverables to support both our near-term deliverables as well as long-term improvement.
  • Assist System Q&R Engineers in bring-up system level debug environment, and data analysis of customer fail logs, translating into DPPM, AFR (annual fail rate) and pareto charts. From data analysis perspective, help assess, clean, and validate data quality, and help gather, collect, transform datasets over multiple domains and develop dashboards. Participate on cross-functional teams to improve capabilities and/or resolve customer reported DPPM related issues. Write and maintain technical documents to summarize results and progress.
