The internship lasts approximately 12 weeks.
What is the pay for this internship?
The internship pays an hourly rate of $18.00.
Who is eligible to apply for the internship?
Undergraduate students in their sophomore, junior or senior year and graduate students pursuing a master's degree with an interest in global sustainable development, local government, and rural policy are eligible to apply. PhD students are not eligible.
Are internships available for remote work?
Yes, this is a hybrid opportunity that combines regular in-person presence at the Washington, DC office with the option of remote work.
What states are ineligible for work location during the internship?
Interns cannot work in Alaska, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Michigan, Oregon, Rhode Island, and Washington.
What type of work will interns be doing?
Interns will assist with research and writing, track legislative developments, conduct research on policies for rural community development, and provide event coordination and administrative support.
