Responsibilities

  • Provides support to Distribution Engineering day-to-day tasks
  • Travel to work sites within Entergy service territories
  • Support the Development, Delivery and Deployment of assigned Management System components to all applicable business units
  • Develop and monitor observation tools, indicators and actions related to Management System compliance
  • Assist or complete design of jobs that require the use of Asset Management Databases and GDT
  • Working in a team environment to assist engineers in day-to-day activities including but not limited to:
  • Performing design based on project scoping and site visits
  • Utilizing design software to model surveyed field configurations
  • Preparing operational one-line drawings
  • Validate estimating prices and equipment units, ensuring material is properly ordered
  • Managing projects that are to be delivered to construction
  • Participate in weekly planning coordination calls
  • Work on special projects to assist in improving grid reliability
  • Responding to equipment failures
  • Asset Management database management
  • Support of business analytic processes through data mining and reporting, as well as performing a wide variety of detailed engineering analysis in transmission-related areas such as planning, economic analysis, design & project management
