Requirements

  • Available to work 40 hours per week (M-F, 8am-5pm)
  • Must be an undergraduate student currently enrolled in a full-time academic program, majoring in Mechanical Engineering
  • Must be in strong academic standing with at least a 3.0 GPA
  • Strong data analysis and presentation skills and complex technical problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail with demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize requests, and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication skills including excellent listening, written and verbal abilities
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and independently and are a self-starter
  • Ability to develop a Design of Experiments (DOE)
  • FEA and CFD knowledge is preferred
  • LabView experience is preferred

Responsibilities

  • As a Mechanical Engineering Co-Op:
  • You will engage and partner on innovative projects to gain experience in a fast paced, cross functional team environment
  • You will receive mentor support for your professional development
  • You will present a final presentation to your team, peers, and senior leaders to highlight your project work and impact on the business
  • You will network and learn about other functions at Keurig through a Lunch & Learn series
  • You will work as part of a product development or advanced development product team working on new product/advanced development
  • What you will do:
  • Participate in design, planning and integration activities for new products and sub-systems
  • Work on a cross-functional team to solve engineering problems related to product performance, cost, quality or schedule
  • Get hands on with our products by troubleshooting, prototyping and testing
  • Work with our international Keurig team as well as external Contract Manufacturers
  • Follow all Keurig Dr Pepper policies and procedures
  • Elements of the KDP Intern/Co-Op Program include:
  • Engaging and partnering on innovative projects to gain experience in a challenging, cross functional team environment
  • Participate in meet & greets and lunch & learns with KDP executives and other organization leaders
  • Receive professional development training such as networking, professional skills development and presenting
  • Be paired with a mentor to enhance your knowledge of other parts of the business and build your network
  • Complete a project from start to finish and present it and your takeaways to your team, department vice president and other KDP stakeholders
