Description

  • StandardAero is seeking motivated, eager, and innovative students looking to join one of our Engineering Teams for the 2024 summer term. 

We are looking for a total of 3 Interns for the Summer of 2024.

  • As an intern at StandardAero, you will gain hands-on industry experience, learn from experts, and collaborate with our teams that raise the standard of excellence. 

Over the course of your 10-12 week internship, you will have the opportunity to: 

  • Partner with existing production engineering teams to support the Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) operations in San Antonio, TX
  • Students will work with experienced engineers on project types that include Repair Industrialization, Tools and Fixture Design and Manufacture, and Process Improvement

Requirements

  • Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience):
  • Completed engineering courses and education experience at the Junior level or above
  • Field of study MUST be Mechanical or Aerospace
  • Computer Aided Design, Computer Programming, Data Querying experience.
  • Knowledge of MS Office products, to include Excel, Project, and Word
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Must be US Citizen due to government contracts
  • Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • Some education in or practical experience in the application of process improvement techniques such as Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, 5S, Kaizen, etc.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A strong desire to learn and be a contributing member of a team
  • Strong self-motivation and organization skills

  • Assist in engine and accessories troubleshooting.
  • Other projects as assigned.
