What are the main responsibilities of a Summer Geotechnical Intern at Terracon?
The main responsibilities include conducting field and laboratory testing of concrete, soil, asphalt, and aggregates, performing sampling or testing as directed, assisting other field or laboratory personnel, transporting equipment, cleaning equipment and work areas, and gradually taking on more training and responsibility in work assignments.
What are the educational requirements for the internship?
The candidate must have a high school diploma and be pursuing a BS degree in a science or related field, such as environmental, safety, engineering, chemistry, biology, or geology. Ideally, the candidate will have less than one year remaining to complete their BS degree.
Is previous experience required for this position?
No previous experience is required; however, the ideal candidate is one who is pursuing a relevant degree and open to learning through training and experience.
