Responsibilities

  • Data Analysis and Reporting:
  • Collect and analyze real-time drilling data to monitor wellbore pressure conditions.
  • Assist in preparing daily reports on drilling parameters, trends, and any anomalies observed during MPD operations.
  • Collaborate with the team to identify potential improvements in drilling performance based on the analysis.
  • Equipment Monitoring and Maintenance:
  • Participate in the monitoring of MPD equipment to ensure proper functioning.
  • Assist in routine maintenance tasks, including calibration of pressure control equipment and troubleshooting any technical issues.
  • Work with experienced personnel to understand the operational requirements of MPD equipment.
  • Well Control Simulations:
  • Engage in well control simulations and exercises to enhance understanding of MPD techniques and procedures.
  • Work with the team to analyze simulated well control scenarios and identify areas for improvement.
  • Gain practical experience in responding to well control events in a controlled environment.
  • Documentation and Compliance:
  • Assist in maintaining accurate records of drilling parameters, equipment performance, and incident reports.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations by actively participating in audits and inspections.
  • Collaborate with the team to update standard operating procedures based on lessons learned and best practices.
  • Project Planning and Coordination:
  • Contribute to the planning and coordination of MPD projects, including logistics, resource allocation, and scheduling.
  • Assist in preparing risk assessments and contingency plans for MPD operations.
  • Learn to coordinate with various stakeholders, including drilling engineers, rig personnel, and service providers, to ensure smooth execution of MPD activities.
