Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a college degree program at Columbia College
  • Must have an interest in gaining practical work experience
  • Good technical skills, including working knowledge of Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Good attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritize, and meet deadlines
  • Preferred Requirements:
  • Previous office or internship experience

Responsibilities

  • You will participate in meetings to gain an understanding of the department's objectives and activities, and assist on special projects and assignments. As a part of your daily tasks, you will perform administrative duties to include creating and editing documents, maintaining spreadsheets, and analyzing basic data. You will collate documents, brochures, or other materials and prepare basic correspondence, research information, gather data, and prepare basic reports or analyses.
