What qualifications do I need to apply for this internship?
You need to be in your penultimate year of an undergraduate or postgraduate degree, or in your final year of an undergraduate degree with a one-year postgraduate place confirmed, and have, or be on course for, a 2:1 undergraduate degree or above.
Are there any specific skills required for this position?
Yes, applicants should have intermediate skills in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, strong research and analytical skills, and strong oral and written communication skills. Advanced technical skills such as SQL, R, Python, or SAS are beneficial.
Will I have the opportunity to gain professional qualifications during the internship?
Yes, as a registered training provider, Ankura supports graduates to train for and obtain ACA or ACCA accountancy qualifications or CFA chartership while working in a fast-growing dispute resolution environment.
What should I include in my application?
You should submit an up-to-date CV, an example of your written work produced as part of your degree course, a covering letter, and in no more than 300 words, outline your understanding of and interest in forensic accounting and dispute resolution.
Is knowledge of a second language beneficial for applicants?
Yes, while not mandatory, having a second language is considered beneficial.
Will I work individually or as part of a team during the internship?
You will be a key member of the engagement team and will work collaboratively on diverse projects with skilled individuals.
Are there opportunities for full-time employment after the internship?
Yes, there is a possibility of receiving a graduate job offer upon successful completion of the internship.
Can I apply if I am not pursuing a degree related to finance or accounting?
