What is the duration of the summer internship program?
The summer internship program is a 7-week program, beginning on 23 June and ending on 8 August 2025.
Where will the internship positions be based?
The internship positions will be based in the UK, across different teams in Norway within the Strategy and Business Development function.
What academic qualifications are required to apply for the internship?
Candidates must be currently studying for a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with a strong academic record in Business, Economics, Finance, Marketing, Political Science, or similar fields.
Are international candidates eligible to apply?
Candidates must have the necessary work permit/visa for the UK, which must be valid at the point of application and for the duration of the internship. Equinor does not support or sponsor work or visa permits for internship applications.
How many internship roles can a candidate apply for?
Candidates may apply for a maximum of 3 Summer Internship roles per country.
What skills and qualities is Equinor looking for in interns?

What documents must be submitted with the application?
Applicants must attach a CV/resume in English and transcripts of records (or other documents describing subjects and grades) obtained to that point during their studies.
Is extracurricular involvement considered in the application process?
Yes, extracurricular activities and/or voluntary work are seen as an advantage in the application process.
Will there be support for learning and development during the internship?
Yes, interns will have access to on-the-job training, learning modules, and networking opportunities as part of their development during the internship.
