Responsibilities

  • As an intern within the Tax team, you'll enjoy much the same experience and opportunities as our full-time trainee recruits, and gain exposure to a wide range of work and clients all whilst studying and completing a professional qualification.
  • You will have the opportunity to expand your local tax knowledge whilst also learning from the specialised skills of over 20,000 tax practitioners in the global PwC network.
  • Our services span all aspects of tax problem-solving, including tax compliance, serving a diverse clientele, including multinationals, UK companies, private enterprises, and individuals; we deliver tailored solutions combining industry insight with technical expertise.
  • You won't be thrown in at the deep end, we run an induction training course for all our interns, and you’ll get specific technical training that’ll give you all the skills you'll need.
  • It'll be a steep learning curve and you'll certainly feel challenged – but you’ll also have all the support you need to help you make a valuable impact and gain experiences that will take you forward in your career.
  • As well as a 'buddy' to answer your questions, you’ll have regular feedback on your performance.
  • You will also study towards your ACCA Diploma in Financial and Management Accounting (RQF Level 2) professional qualification with our training provider - with all costs for study materials and exams fees covered by the firm.
  • During your internship you will be based in our offices for three days a week, and at our training provider’s premises for the remaining two days.
  • Be it the clients; the people; the networks; or the social events, you’ll be surprised at the skills you’ll develop and how much you’ll learn.
  • If you perform well you could finish your internship with a view to securing a firm job offer as a permanent member of staff once school/university has ended.
