Requirements

  • Studying for an undergraduate or Masters degree (ideally Logistics) and required to take a placement as part of your course.
  • You are required to have a valid driving license for this role.
  • You must have the right to live and work in the UK when you start your placement and for the full duration of your placement.
  • Please note your placement must be directly relevant to your course to comply with visa requirements.
  • Before attending an interview for this position you must inform your Faculty/School Placement Officer and we strongly suggest you check you are eligible for a placement before you apply.
  • If your Faculty/School does not have a Placement Officer, you must inform your course tutor.

Responsibilities

  • Focus on Continuous improvement of all processes
  • Process confirmation / WH lean maturity
  • Monthly reports - customer lines, scrapping, controlling tool input, weekly transport quota (requires validation from contract managers)
  • Daily reports - DWR, Carrier daily reports, etc.
  • Invoice data checks (not invoice approval but data checks for rates)
  • Log shared coverage
  • BGN (Bosch Global Net) creation / update
  • Project assistance / tender implementation
  • Analysis / Power BI / process improvement support
  • Retrieving PODs
  • Stock Take participation
  • Liaising with BOP, sales managers, trade shows etc
  • Support for creating and collating the MBR slides (CEVA and Transport)
  • WH productivity data sharing
  • BOWAS testing support
  • Cost analysis support
