Requirements

  • Supply chain management, engineering, or related field required; preferably within some international supply chain experience
  • An understanding of purchasing and supply chain management, with the ability to apply the concepts in the real world
  • Experience in project management
  • Excellent customer services skills
  • Initiative to scope, start and drive projects and tasks to completion
  • Ability to openly seek advice, guidance and enlist support, as needed
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must be able to work with minimum supervision on complex, non-standard responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Support efforts to source various components, systems, and hardware
  • Manage quick turn R&D builds by sourcing key components and coordinating on time delivery to meet our timelines
  • Execute purchase requisitions to place Purchase Orders as and when needed and manage purchase orders through invoicing and delivery.
  • Maintain accurate open Purchase Order lines with the inbound quantities and due dates from vendors.
  • Apply analytics and supply chain expertise to manage vendors and delivery schedules.
  • Act as the primary interface with suppliers on delivery status, issues, and resolution.
  • Support in component shipments and inventory management of components that are sent to suppliers.
  • Work with suppliers in procurement of off-the-shelf parts and manufactured parts ensuring proper authorization of the spend.
  • Navigate to a dynamic environment of rolling / changing build plans.
